This was so absolutely beautiful, I'm having trouble not crying. Especially in light of MLK's birthday. I recall, he had a dream.
On a historical day in Washington, fresh from the struggles in Alabama, he had a dream.
He had a dream where any black child could find a viewmaster that would transport him to a magical land. And in that magical land, three identical wifebeater-wearing oompa loompas would dazzle him with their shininess until he turned gay.
He had a dream where that black child could finally put on a pimp hat and lean on a corvette, becoming a fuzzy treat for the oompa loompas. And an adorable traitor to the majesty of his own race.
Finally, in the most inspiring passage, he had a dream that black children could share the love and the hope of the viewmaster. With homeless men. Who love teenage douchebags.
